Your “autism or death” dichotomy is fallacious and false. Many people who have not gotten vaccinated at all are very healthy.
My personal suggestion is that people understand that (i) autism is very abnormally high in our country, and (ii) over vaccination is one of the most likely suspects for being the cause.
I also think that parents — and doctors — should drastically reduce the number of vaccinations being given to children. When I was a child in the 1960s, the norm for children in this country was 4 or 5 vaccinations. Many of us are not dead and do not have autism. Now children receive over 30 vaccinations. It’s ridiculous. They receive way too many and too often.
I also think not vaccinating a child at all, in some circumstances, can be a responsible decision.
